Asus today has officially pull the wraps off its new ZenFone device in Russia. Dubbed ZenFone 4 Max (ZC554KL), the smartphone is the successor of ZenFone 3 Max that was launched around this time last year.
It is clad in a slightly curved metal body that is 8.9mm thick, weighing 181 grams. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch 2.5D display flaunting a pixel resolution of 1920×1080, which hangs the pixel density to 401ppi. The company is offering the phone in three different versions; 2GB RAM + 16GB storage, 3GB RAM + 32GB storage, and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. The processor driving these versions are further splits into two, the first is a quad-core Snapdragon 425 chipset and the second an octa-core Snapdragon 435 chipset.

The ZenFone 4 Max is equipped with dual rear-facing wide-angle cameras for photography while it harbors an 8MP camera at the front for selfie. It runs Android 7.0.Nougat, supports dedicated dual SIM slots with 4G LTE, and is backed by a large 5000mAh battery that can deliver up to 40 hours of talk time on 3G and 22 hours of video playback. It has a fingerprint scanner beneath the home button as well.
