LG on Thursday announced a second edition of its Watch Urbane premium smartwatch. Unlike the first edition that was launched in March, the new model has a larger 1.38-inch P-OLED circular display with 348ppi pixel density, protected by Gorilla Glass 3. It runs Android Wear OS and has a built-in LTE with the supports of VoLTE.
While its processor remains the same with the previous version (Snapdragon 400 at 1.2GHz), the RAM has been slightly increased from 512MB to 728MB. The smartwatch support smartphones running Android 4.3+ and iOS 8. It is water and dust resistant with IP67 rating (can survive up to 30 minutes in 1m deep of water).

In terms of functionality, the Watch Urbane 2nd Edition have built-in heart rate sensor, 9-axis accelerometer/gyroscope/compass, and GPS for tracking fitness, all of which can be monitor on pre-installed LG Health app. It also has a Barometer sensor. Besides LTE, the device also support Wifi, Bluetooth 4.1, and 3G.
It has a premium stainless steel body just like its predecessor. It is powered by a 570mAh battery. The watch comes in four different colors, Luxe White, Opal Blue, Space Black and Signature Brown.
LG is yet to reveal to its pricing. It’ll be available in Korea, U.S, and other select markets when it go on sale.
