The Zenbook 3 is not the only laptop Asus announced at Computex 2016 in Taiwan, the company also launched Transformer 3 (T305), a sleek thin 2-in-1 convertible Windows 10 laptop that measure just 6.9mm and weighs 695 grams.
Wrapped in a metal body, the Transformer 3 features a 12.6-inch touch display with a resolution of 2880×1920 pixel, flaunting a pixel density of 275ppi and 450cd/m2 brightness. It is powered by an Intel Core i7 processor, clubbed with up to 8GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage. Optional Transformer Sleeve detachable keyboard that will be available separately sports a precision touchpad laid with glass, and has an adjustable two-position display stand.

The Asus Transformer 3 (T305) has a fingerprint sensor that seamlessly work with Windows Hello in locking and unlocking the device, and comes with latest array of connectivity options, including USB 3.1 Type-C, Thunderbolt 3 port that can render up to 40Gbps data transfer speed, Bluetooth, and WiFi. A 13-megapixel camera is equipped at the rear, and it also sports a front-facing camera. Four speakers, two placed at each side offer premium sound quality for good listening pleasure, thanks to Harman kardon audio enhancement.
The laptop comes with a starting price of $799 USD. It will be available in Icicle Gold and Glacial Grey colours. Asus is also offering different accessories for its Transform 3, these include Asus Universal Dock, Asus Pen, Asus ROG XG Station 2, and Asus Audio Pod.
