Acer has expanded its Predator line-up with a new gaming projector, the Predator Z850. Unlike what has usually been around in the Predator gang, the new device escape through mobility and headed for portability, shaking loose the miniature display design known with others by offering an UltraWide HD (1920×720) projecting images of up to 120-inch in size, at a minimum distance of 18.5 inches.
The image beam through its laser diode have an aspect ratio of 24:9, contrast ratio of 100000:1, and can brighten upto 3,000 Lumens in Standard mode and 2,000 Lumens in Economic mode.

Acer claims the laser diode that projects the image can deliver up to 20,000 hours in Standard mode and 30,000 hours in Economic mode. The Predator Z850 built-in fan keeps it cool during gameplay with an almost noiseless sound of 33 dBA in Standard mode and 29 dBA in Economic mode.
Sitting at its rear are wide range of connectivity options, these includes 2x HDMI ports, VGA input port, VGA output port, Audio Line In and Line Out, RJ-45 port, USB port, and Composite Video port. It comes with a 10W built-in speaker and have an option that allows it to be pair with a Wireless Kit for streaming contents wirelessly in full-HD (1080p) resolution.
The Acer Predator Z850 comes in Red and Black colour options and is currently available for pre-orders in the United States at a price of $4,999 USD. A year warranty is included.
