Asus has launched Live (G500TG), its latest entry-level smartphone in Brazil. The device is priced at BRL 849 ($211 USD). Availability outside Brazil is not known.
Notably, the new Asus Live shares some common specifications with Zenfone Go that was released by the company in September last year. It features a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels, and packs a quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor clocked at 1.3GHz, coupled with 2GB of RAM and Mali-400 GPU.

It includes a 16GB of built-in storage, which is further expandable up to 64GB via MicroSD card. The smartphone offers dual SIM functionality and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop topped with Zen UI. An 8-megapixel autofocus camera is placed at the back, accompanied with a LED flash, while it sports a 2-megapixel camera at the front. Connectivity options included with Asus Live are Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi with Hotspot, 3G HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, GPS, and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 2,070mAh battery.
Asus is offering 100GB of free Google Drive cloud storage and 5GB of free Asus WebStorage with each purchase. The phone also comes pre-loaded with Digital TV.
