Asus has added a new budget smartphone to its flagship collection
named as Pegasus 2 Plus (X551). The device was showcased in an event
that took place in China during the weekend. However, pricing and
availability are yet to be announced.
The Pegasus 2 Plus (X551) features a 5.5-inch IPS display with a
full-HD resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. It offers dual-SIM
functionality and runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box topped
with the firm Zen UI. Under the hood, the smartphone is driven by a
64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor slammed with 3GB of
RAM.
There is 13-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash at the rear
while it houses a 5-megapixel selfie-enable camera at the front. The
Asus Pegasus 2 Plus (X551) includes a 16GB of built-in storage which
is expandable via MicroSD card. Connectivity options included are 4G
LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Wifi, 3G HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, and
Micro-USB. It is backed by a 3030mAh battery.
