Asus in March unveiled its latest gaming laptop, the ROG GL552, without mentioning its pricing and availability. The firm however has launched the notebook in India with a price tag of Rs 77,900 ($1,215 USD). It will be available starting from next week at popular online stores in the region.
The Asus ROG GL552 features a 15.6-inch IPS backlit display with a full-HD resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixel, flaunting an aspect ratio of 16:9 and 178-degree wide angle view. Diving in, the device is driven by a fourth-generation Intel Core i7-4720HQ processor with a base speed of 2.6GHz that can turbo boost up to 3.6GHz, slammed with 8GB of DDR3 RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX950M, and an integrated Intel HD Graphics 4600 for handling high graphics demanding games.

It packed a 1TB SATA 2.5-inch HDD (Hard Disk Drive), accompanied by an optical drive. At the top of the screen, the ROG GL552 houses an HD WebCam alongside with a microphone. Connectivity options onboard are 3x USB 3.0 ports, RJ45 Ethernet port, Monitor (VGA) port, Wifi 801 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Headphone Jack, and SD Card reader.
The ROG GL522 has a built-in stereo speaker enhanced with AudioWizard and SonicMaster audio for best sound output. Mouse, headset, and bag are also included in the package. It drawn its power from a 48WHr 4-cell battery.
