Asus ZenWatch Coming To US On November 9

Asus unveiled its first Android wear powered smartwatch at IFA event in early September dubbed ZenWatch. However, the firm has announced that the smartwatch will be available in the U.S starting from November 9 at $199 (Roughly NGN 31,000). The Asus first Android Wear device will also be made available on Google Play, though the specific date is not mentioned.

Asus ZenWatch is a fully packed smartwatch that comes with several functions, it sports a stainless steel frame with curved glass and features a 1.6-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 320*320 pixels, touting 278ppi pixel density. It is driven by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset coupled with 512MB of RAM, while there is a 4GB of built-in storage onboard.

Other features include 9-axis sensor, voice control, and the firm integrated Tap Tap function that quickly let users locate the phone if misplaced. It comes with a battery that can last up to 24 hours in normal use.
