Google in partnership with Asus has launched a new tiny PC stick running full desktop Chrome operating system, Chromebit. In April, Google introduced new range of Chrome devices which includes Chromebit dongle stick also made by Asus, but this new model is more compact, more powerful, and plugs in directly into any full-size HDMI port. Also, it is cheaper than the one released in April.
The Chromebit (CS10) is powered by a quad-core Rockchip RK3288-C processor, coupled with 2GB of DDR3 RAM and Mali-T764 GPU. It has a built-in storage of 16GB that, unfortunately, is not expandable. An accompanied HDMI extension cable let users place the device hidden behind the connected display or in front to make use of its USB 2.0 port. Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi 802.11ac connectivity onboard let users connect wireless device such as mouse and keyboard for better user experience.

The Chromebit (CS10) measures 123 x 31 x 17 mm and weighs just 75 grams. It costs US$85 (#17,000 NGN) and is already available in the United States. It can be purchase on Amazon, Newegg,and Canada Computers just to mention few. The Asus Chromebit comes in Tangerine Orange and Cacao Black colors.
