The french phone maker Archos, has launched a new budget smartphone under its Helium series named 50d Helium. The phone offers interesting specs at a very friendly price of $129 USD.
To start with, it features a 5.0-inch IPS display with a HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, and Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. Under the hood, the device is driven by a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, alongside with 1GB of RAM.

A 13-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash hold the upper rear area, while it is equipped with a 5-megapixel camera at the front. The dual-SIM enabled Archos 50d Helium houses a 16GB of built-in storage which can be further expanded up to 64GB via MicroSD card.
Connectivity options onboard are 4G LTE, 3G (HSPA+), 2G, GPS, and Micro-USB. A 2100mAh turn-on the device. The 50d Helium will be available in Stone Grey and Storm Blue colour options when it goes on sale later this month.
