Pegasus 4S – Asus First Smartphone with 18:9 FullView Display Launched

Asus has joined the bandwagon of technology companies to launch a phone with an 18:9 FullView display with its latest device called Pegasus 4S. The phone has minimal top and bottom bezels with a large screen centered inbetween, featuring a 5.7-inch IPS display with HD+ (1440×720) resolution.

Powering the device is an octa-core MediaTek MT6750T processor running at a speed of 1.5GHz, paired with Mali-T860 GPU. There is a 3GB of RAM onboard for multitasking and a 32GB of internal storage, which is further expandable via MicroSD card up to 128GB. Asus is also offering a 4GB RAM/64GB storage version for those who desire more.

Shifting to the back, at the upper left is a dual horizontally-placed camera, the first boasting a 16-megapixel sensor and the second an 8-megapixel sensor for capturing depth of view and creating bokeh. A single LED is located besides the cameras for lighting and right below is a fingerprint sensor for smart security and authentication.

The Pegasus 4S runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. It supports dual SIM as well. Connectivity included are Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi, 4G LTE, 3G, and GPS. It is backed by a massive 4030mAh battery.

The phone will be available in China later this week in Star Black and Gold colors. No details on its pricing.
